AR Rahman, the musical genius honoured by Miami University with an honorary doctorate for his towering achievements. Rahman accepted the doctorate and made a touching acceptance speech.
The music director said he could not believe that he received personal invites from the President of the United States and his wife inviting him to their country as well as the White House. He thanked the University for recognizing his efforts and also talked about his mother, father, Mani Ratnam, and his Sufi teachers who were all responsible for the things he had done with his life. Maastars congratulationg AR Rahman and wish him all the best.
